$1.2 Million in Grants
Folcroft Borough is proud to share several major improvement projects that are moving forward throughout our community. Through successful grant funding, we are investing more than $1.26 million into our parks, infrastructure, public safety, and neighborhoods.
Special thanks to State Rep. Dave Delloso and Delaware County Council for their continued support in helping Folcroft secure funding for these important projects.
🌳 MONTGOMERY PARK PARKING LOT EXPANSION
Grant Funding: $183,884 – CDBG Program (County Grant)
The expansion of the Montgomery Park parking lot will provide additional parking spaces while also improving the park's drainage system.

💡 BOROUGH-WIDE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS
Grant Funding: $400,000 – DCED MTF (State Grant)
This project will replace streetlights throughout Folcroft Borough with new LED lighting, improving visibility, efficiency, and our community's streetscape.
Work is expected to begin in the coming weeks.

⚡ COMMUNITY CENTER EMERGENCY GENERATOR
Grant Funding: $254,358 – 2024 LSA Grant (State Grant)
A new emergency generator will be installed at the Ethan Joner Community Center, allowing the facility to better serve our residents as a community shelter and emergency resource when needed.

🚧 ANNUAL I&I SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Grant Funding: $425,000 – 2025 PA Small Water Program (State Grant)
Continued sewer lining and infrastructure improvements will help strengthen Folcroft's sewer system and address inflow and infiltration (I&I) throughout the Borough.
Work will begin the week of August 31 throughout the Borough.
