Latest Snow Updates: Borough Hall Closed, No Trash Pickup Monday, January 26th
Due to the winter storm, Folcroft Borough offices will be closed and trash will not be collected on Monday, January 26th. The rest of the week’s trash schedule will not be affected.

Borough Offices Closed January 19th in Observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Folcroft Borough Offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Trash Collection Schedule: Monday’s regular trash collection will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 20; Tuesday’s regular pickup will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 21. There will be no recycling pickup this week.
Delaware County Health Department to Offer Free CPR Training
February is Heart Month – Learn How to Save a Life!
The Delaware County Health Department is offering free CPR Training at Ethan Joner Community Center on Monday, February 2, plus two other Delaware County Locations.
Christmas Tree Collection Begins Monday, January 5th
Christmas tree collection begins on Monday, January 5 and runs through the entire month of January. Please place any trees out along the street on your scheduled trash day and it will be collected by borough staff.
Afterwards, Christmas trees can be dropped off at the rear lot of the old Municipal Building at 1555 Elmwood Avenue.

Parking Permit Enforcement Suspended Until January 5, 2026
Parking permit enforcement will be suspended beginning Monday, December 22nd and continue through the holiday season. Enforcement will begin again on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule: Trash Collection, Parking and Office Hours
Folcroft Borough will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27-28, for Thanksgiving.
TRASH AND RECYCLING: Thursday’s trash will be picked up on Wednesday this week. There will be no recycling pickup on Wednesday.
PARKING: Please note that parking permit enforcement will be suspended beginning the evening of the November 27, and will resume on the evening of the November 30.

Folcroft Borough Council and Folcroft Borough Police Department present a Toy Giveaway on Monday, December 8, 2025. Registration Required. This is for children under 12 years of age. We cannot guarantee donations will be available for children older than 12.
Register Your Home for Folcroft’s Holiday Lights Contest!
Residents are invited to enter in Folcroft Borough’s Holiday Lights Contest! Please register your home in time to be included in our Polar Express bus tour of lights on Friday, December 12th. Passengers will enjoy hot cocoa, a sweet treat, and will vote for the best decorated homes in Folcroft!
Borough Closed for Veterans Day - Tuesday, November 11
The Borough of Folcroft will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The borough will resume normal hours on Wednesday, November 12th.
Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway
A free turkey is available to any Folcroft family in need this holiday season! First-come first-serve; November 24th, 5-6pm at the Ethan Joner Community Center, 797 E. Ashland Avenue.

Children’s Coats Available from Folcroft Borough
Folcroft Police Department, The Mayor and Borough Council present a Coats for Kids giveaway on Monday, December 1st at the Ethan Joner Community Center. The giveaway takes place at 6 PM at the Community Center, located at 797 Ashland Avenue. Proof of residency needed and child must be present.
Senior Holiday Luncheon at Community Center December 13th
Folcroft Senior Residents are invited to Folcroft's Senior Holiday Luncheon on Saturday, December 13th from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Ethan Joner Community Center, 797 Ashland Avenue. During this luncheon the borough will raffle off a brand new recliner, gift cards and more!
In Memory of Kathleen S. Kelly
It is with deep sadness that the Borough of Folcroft announces the passing of our longtime Tax Collector, Mrs. Kathleen S. Kelly. A proud Folcroft resident for more than 55 years, Mrs. Kelly faithfully served our community for over four decades. She previously served as a member of Borough Council and as its President, as well as a member of the Southeast Delco School Board.
Borough Offices Closed November 4th for Election Day
Folcroft Borough Offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 4th for Election Day. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM through 8:00 PM, and Folcroft voters can cast their ballots at their designated polling locations.
Folcroft Borough Now Hiring Crossing Guards
Folcroft Borough is looking for crossing guards! Applicants are subject to the PA Child Protective Services law which includes child abuse and criminal background checks. Morning and afternoon hours.
Street Sweeping Concludes for the Season October 15th
Please note that Tuesday, October 14 and Wednesday, October 15 are the last days for street sweeping in 2025. Street sweeping will resume in Spring 2026.
