Borough Council Seeks Folcroft Resident for Vacant Seat
Folcroft Borough Council is accepting resumes and letters of interest for anyone interested in applying for the Vacant Council Seat at large.
Requirements:
Must be over 18 years old and a registered voter
Must have resided in the Borough for at least one year prior to the date of appointment.

Street Sweeping Begins Tuesday, April 1st
Street sweeping in Folcroft will begin the week of March 31 and takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please consult the posted signage on your street for details about which dates and times to expect the sweeper on your block. Notices about cancellation will be posted on this website and social media.


Volunteers Wanted for Mini Pros Committee
Folcroft Borough is seeking resident volunteers to serve on the borough’s Mini Pros Committee. This committee will work on the creation of a master plan for all parks and recreation in Folcroft. For more information, please contact Borough Manager Shawn Payne Jr. at manager@folcroftborough.org.

Folcroft Police Department Now Accepting Applications for Full-Time Officer
The Borough of Folcroft is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Officer. All applications must be returned by April 9, 2025 at 4:00 pm, in person to the Folcroft Borough Police Department located at 799 E Ashland Avenue Folcroft, PA 19032.

Civil Service Commission Meeting Wednesday, March 5
The Folcroft Borough Civil Service Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday, March 5th at 6pm in the Council Chambers. The purpose of this meeting is to authorize advertising full-time police officer testing and any new business. Folcroft Borough Now Hiring Crossing Guards
Folcroft Borough is looking for crossing guards! Applicants are subject to the PA Child Protective Services law which includes child abuse and criminal background checks. Morning and afternoon hours.

Folcroft Awarded $400,000 for Pedestrian Street Lighting Project
The Commonwealth Financing Authority, an agency of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development, has announced that through a Multimodal Transportation Fund grant the Borough of Folcroft has been awarded $400,000 for a pedestrian street lighting project.

Free Fitness Programs for Residents at Community Center
Through the end of March 2025, Folcroft Borough will offer two fitness programs on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00-7:00 PM. Classes will take place at the Ethan Joner Community Center and are free to Folcroft residents. Donations are appreciated.

Feb. 11 Borough Council Meeting Canceled Due to Weather
The workshop meeting of Folcroft Borough Council scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, has been canceled due to inclement weather. The next meeting of Borough Council will be held Tuesday, February 25th at 7 pm.

Folcroft Borough Offices Closed Monday, February 17 for Presidents’ Day
The Borough of Folcroft will be closed for business on Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
